Abrol said in order to make the restaurant experience as authentic as possible, the chefs and managers spent about a week in Mexico to soak in and understand the culture. So with the idea of offering authentic Mexican food and drinks in one space, Meximodo was born. Abrol said he wanted to get into the Mexican food scene for some time and noticed a recent surge in popularity in mezcal - a distilled alcoholic beverage made from agave spirits.
